“What if women rose again? What if we could reclaim, somehow, that power and respect which women had lost? What if we could somehow, dismantle this planet destroying patriarchy and re-create a world in which we lived in balance? What if we could reclaim those stories and become those women again?”

~Sharon Blackie, author of If Women Rose Rooted

A journey of reclaiming wisdom through her-story, myth, artistic practice, writing, and embodied movement.

This is a call to explore the her-stories of womanhood throughout the ages and to reclaim a power waiting to be released. Let us revisit and remember stories not sourced in patriarchy and white supremacy, let us call on those stories to re-envision a new future. Our primary focus will center around the myths, fairy tale, stories, and symbols of ancient European traditions. What wisdom was held in these stories? How did they become lost? How can we apply this wisdom to our lives today? In this community of seekers, we will rediscover the Wisdom of Women across the ages through study and engagement with:

  • Her-story

  • Myth

  • Archetypes

  • Herbal practices

  • Nature

  • Embodiment

  • Symbols

  • Creativity

  • Art

  • Writing

  • Justice

Anyone who hears this call to reconnect and recreate their relationship to the Wisdom of Women may join; all genders are welcome. We will explore how these themes and practices can be applied to the cycles and seasons of our own lives and what it means for us to reclaim these wisdom practices during challenging times as we co-create a new story.
