CLASS SCHEDULE

Sunday Beginner- Easy Flow, 9-10 AM with Angie
Monday Hatha Gentle Flow with Yin, 5:30-6:30 with Charleigh
Tuesday Mixed Level 1/2 Energizing Flow, 9-10:15 AM with Angie
Thursday Gentle Flow, 9-10 AM with Angie ***no class on 10/5 due to hosting Swamiji!
Thursday Flow and Restore with Live Music, 6-7 PM with Angie and Josh
Fees: Drop in, $12. Pay ahead, 5 for $50 or 10 for $100 (or other increment of $10 per class when paying ahead).
*Please pay each individual teacher separately. Our teachers pay a small rent so that they receive the most pay for their classes here at Jai Studios. As such, class passes are not interchangeable between teachers.
Gentle Yoga:
Saturday, December 16 -With Ruth Ticknor! 10-11:30 AM. $15 drop in or $10 pay ahead.

 Class Descriptions

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a very gentle practice. Postures are done fully supported by props and once set in a pose, the body releases the muscles into a passive stretch. The goal of the practice is to restore your body and relax your mind.

Yoga With Charleigh

A gentle blend of easy Hatha poses moving into some deeper Yin style holds for muscle warming & opening.  Some pranayama included, mini-meditations, and a long sweet restorative Savasana.  A great class for beginners or the more seasoned yogi. You will be refreshed & relaxed through body & mind.

*Please note: Class passes are not interchangeable between teachers. Pay each teacher separately for classes. Thank you.

 

Easy Flow

A level 1 and beginner basics class designed to prepare you for the week ahead and build your body awareness and sense of center and core movement. Classes are taught with alignment and form in a gentle flowing style. Standing poses are isolated in their own flowing sequences.  We develop core awareness, moving with gravity, and building each pose from the ground up. Variations are always offered.  Basic poses are focused on, breath awareness, and simple meditations.

 

Energizing Moderate Flow

A mixed level, invigorating class that will energize and recharge while building strength, flexibility, and stamina.  Class is taught in a flowing vinyasa style with attention to alignment and form.  We work core stabilization, awareness, and build from the ground up in every pose.  Energizing inversions and backbends are included in this class.  Options and variations are always offered.  Meditation and Pranayama are keys to the practice.

 

Gentle Yoga

An easy flow of basic postures and flowing movements. Props and chairs are used to support the body and facilitate release and ease. An simple flow for everyone, experienced and new Yogis.

 

Flow and Restore

A level 1/mixed level yoga class.  This is your time to renew after the long work week.  Flowing sequences reset the body and mind, as we build on body awareness and a sense of center and core movement.  Classes are taught with alignment and form in a flowing style, with restorative postures offered to help you to wind down and sooth the body and soul.  All poses are built from the ground up as we develop core awareness and strength.  Variations are always offered.  Basic and advancing poses are taught and built upon.  Breath awareness, simple meditations and chanting are included.
